Wee Forest Folk
Wee Forest Folk were born from the imagination of Annette Petersen in the late 1960's, and have been sold in retail gift shops since the early 1970's. Annette, and her two children, Willy and Donna sculpt the originals of each delightful piece in the line. Some of the earlier sculptures included farm and other forest animals, but today, the mice remain the most popular pieces in the line. Each Wee Forest Folk is handpainted here in the United States in a small factory on the east coast.

The pieces above are from a private collection and are not for sale. Miss Ducky, D-1 is an early and rare animal from 1973. The Mouse on the drum with fife MM-1 was from 1974. Nightie Mouse, M-14 dates back to 1976.
